GARDEN LAWN

The Garden Lawn is an open-air outdoor venue set within the grounds of Modi Estate – AM Hotel Kollection. Its outdoor format allows for flexible décor arrangements including mandap structures, floral installations, and elaborate lighting setups. Guests should confirm with the property directly regarding weather contingency options such as temporary canopy or shamiyana arrangements.

Capacity for the Garden Lawn depends on the event format — seated dining arrangements, cocktail-style receptions, and stage-plus-audience setups each accommodate different numbers of guests. For accurate figures suited to a specific event layout, it is best to reach out to the Modi Estate events team directly.

As a full-service hotel under the AM Hotel Kollection brand, Modi Estate offers in-house catering services for events held at the Garden Lawn. Menus can typically be customised to suit the occasion, covering everything from multi-course banquet dinners to cocktail spreads. Guests should discuss specific menu preferences and dietary requirements with the catering team when planning their event.

Policies on external vendors vary by property, and it is advisable to confirm with the Modi Estate events team whether outside caterers or decorators are permitted. Many hotel venues have preferred vendor lists or levy a corkage and vendor fee for external suppliers. Clarifying this early in the planning process helps avoid surprises closer to the event date.

The Garden Lawn offers an open-sky setting with natural greenery as a backdrop, which allows for a scale and visual grandeur that enclosed banquet halls typically cannot replicate — particularly for large floral installations, mandap structures, and dramatic lighting effects after sunset. The outdoor format is especially popular for sangeet nights and wedding receptions where ambiance and photography are priorities. Indoor spaces at the property may be better suited for events where climate control and sound containment are important considerations.
